From Carissa at JL Designs, “We were so inspired by vintage botanical prints for this wedding…loved using various types of ferns, begonia leaves, hellebore, anemones, parrot tulips and ranunculus for the centerpieces…and the pops of amber orchids and amaranths were just the magic ingredients to add warmth to everything… The place settings were one of my favorite details…gold rimmed china, ivory hemstitch napkins and a baby fern sprig…set with a bundle of hammered copper flatware tied using velvet ribbon and a stained wood placecard…stunning calligraphy and botanical illustrations from Tessa Shane!”

“The groom stained a large 3×7 plywood board and we had Tessa Shane hand paint the courses and botanic illustrations onto it…a delicate garland of passion vine finished the look.”

“Tablescapes with olive green suede runners (custom made by the mother of the bride), brass candlesticks, mid century stoneware and amber glass apothecary bottles… One of my favorite bouquets this year – tons of maidenhair fern, bay leaf, pieris, double hellebore, anemones, veronica and astilbe…finished in caramel velvet Instead of individual menus at each place setting,”

“Gorgeous desserts by Sweet and Saucy Shop and emerald sequin linens from La Tavola…oh and you guys – can we talk about the pumpkin spice naked cake with cream cheese frosting and salted caramel drizzle?!”

We love this botanical garden wedding (indoors and out) with ferns, brass candlesticks, mid century stoneware, amber glass apothecary bottles, and green suede table runners (made by Angela’s mom)! And of course, phenomenal florals by Carissa of JL Designs.
