A born-and-raised California girl, Natalie takes a lighthearted approach to art-inspired wedding imagery.  Photography has always been a constant presence in her life, often borrowing her mom’s camera for impromptu photoshoots as a teenager. Now, almost a decade later, she finds wholehearted fulfillment when bringing joy to others through her images, capturing memories for them that will last a lifetime.When she isn’t behind the camera, you will find her spending time with her family, going on adventures, binge watching a new show, and having game nights. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WEDDING MEMORY SO FAR?

I shot a wedding where the brides grandfather was very ill and the family didn’t know how long he’d have, but he came to the wedding despite not being in the best condition. During the ceremony I captured this photo of the grandpa holding hands with his wife. At the time just thought it was a cute moment and wanted to capture it. Well the grandpa passed a month later and I had no idea how important that picture would become. It was their favorite picture from their gallery, it was so very special to them. I was happy to have captured something so raw and emotional for them.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION?

My most prized possession are my kids. I worked hard to bring them in this world. Raising them has been the biggest blessing and I love spending all my time with them. They are my life. 

WHAT FICTIONAL CHARACTER DO YOU MOST IDENTIFY WITH? 

Anna from frozen. I’m quirky and fun and energetic. I’m loving and caring. I am a people pleaser and love making others happy. 

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE Bay area hangouts?

Anywhere in the woods, I like camping and being outdoors. Pismo beach is a favorite spot of mine.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS? 

My perfect happiness would be spending all my time with my family and friends. Traveling with my kids and learning different cultures. Providing for my family and never having to worry about whether we can afford to do something. 

WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW?

I want to see the world. I could literally leave at this moment to go anywhere and I’d be happy. In my top is the Netherlands, Germany, Bali, and Scotland.

Foodie spots

I am a foodie! I love trying new restaurants, I am all about finding little hole in the wall restaurants to enjoy. I’m a pen and paper kind of girl and my handwriting is so small that no other pen compares.

I love binge watching shows. My way of relaxing after a long day at work or after being with my crazy kids all day is to sit down and just fall into a show and become obsessed with storylines. I literally love everything from medical and police shows, to reality and drama, to comedy. I just enjoy escaping my life for a moment and falling into the lives of those I’m watching. 

Outdoors

I love being outdoors and going on adventures. Whether hiking, picnic at the park, or camping. Just put me outside and let me explore. 

Sports

I used to be and still consider myself an athlete. I played and coached volleyball and still indulge in playing with my nieces. I also enjoy kicking a soccer ball around with my daughter or playing catch with a football with my husband

Meeting new people

I am an Extrovert and just love people and can make friends anywhere and everywhere. My husband always says it’s crazy how I can go into a room with strangers and walk out with friends.
