Anna

Photography Coordinator

I'll help you curate the perfect shot list and advise on the perfect timing for your photography considering the weather and lighting the day of your session.

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Anna is your true Cali girl. From the beaches, to the deserts, to the mountains, you'll find Anna enjoying the sunshine at any chance she gets. Passionate about the wedding industry (she's been in it for over 10 years!), she's your personal planner for all-things-photography. From collecting your family's names, to the perfect locations and timing for that magic golden light: she's got a spreadsheet for it. She's masterfully coordinating photography schedules for dozens of shoots per week, and we love her for it.  Other fun facts about Anna: she's a Leo, she's an Enneagram 3 (The Achiever), and her love language is food.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WEDDING MEMORY SO FAR?

During dinner, the best man was giving his speech and was talking about how wonderful the groom was. Suddenly the groom got up - it turned out the Bride's aunt was full on choking on a piece of meat and he saved her. The groom happened to be a firefighter so saving a life really did come second nature to him. I always say that if you were going to choke, that was the best wedding to do it at since it was a room full of firefighters.

IN WHAT HISTORICAL PERIOD WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO HAVE LIVED?

I would probably have loved to live in the 1920's. I think I would have loved all of the art and the music during that time period. And of course, I love a good party (a la Great Gatsby!).

WHERE ARE YOUR FAVORITE SOCAL HANGOUTS?

All my local hangouts/secret spots are probably food related. Once or twice a month there's a breakfast sandwich pop-up called A.M. Smash in OC and LA - it's what breakfast dreams are made of. Going to Detention is also where you want to go - located in downtown Santa Ana, they serve brunch and dinner and it'll be one of the best meals you've ever had.

WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW?

WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION?

Hold on while I pack my bags! I love to travel but admittedly I haven't traveled to as many places as I would like to travel. I've never been to South America but definitely have Peru, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile on my bucket list.

My most priced possession is my family. My husband and I have been together for ten years and married for five of those years. We have a two year old boy who made makes me laugh like I've never laughed before. I never knew I could love someone so much until he came into this world. We also have a shiba inu dog and a feral kitten who found a place in our family.

Go-tos

ICED COFFEE

If you see me I'm probably craving an ice coffee. Splash of milk with a shot of vanilla or caramel for a little sweetness.

ITALy

I often describe myself as Italian since a lot of my childhood was spent with my pseudo grandparents who were Italian. I probably eat pasta at least twice a week and one of my favorite places in the world is Cinque Terre.

DISNEYLAND

I love Disneyland. Our family has annual passes so we try to go twice a month since we live close. It always makes me feel like a kid again.

COOKIES

I adore a home-baked chocolate chip cookie, warm out of the oven. Crispy on the outside, chewy in the middle. Bristol Farms makes a really good one if home-baked isn't an option.

MOUNTAINS

I love being outdoors. Whether it's hiking or camping (sometimes glamping), I enjoy being outdoors and enjoying the fresh air. The mountains are always a favorite, especially when there's a beautiful view.

SHOES

I have more shoes than a normal person should own. Heels, flats, sandals, boots, running shoes, tennis shoes. There is a time and a place for any shoe so one must own them all.
