Catherine is a beach baby who fell in love with the desert, a born and raised New Englander with a penchant for escaping New England. Her interest in photography began while at University of Connecticut pursuing a degree in Art History. Her approach to photography is unfussy, specializing in the unrehearsed and the unposed. When she's not documenting love stories, you can find her capturing content for chefs and new restaurants, coast to coast. When she's not behind the lens, you can find her exploring another National Park or new place to ski.
My cameras! My camera is basically part of me now, I always have one with me. Not only has it afforded me the ability to see stunning places and meet incredible people, but I'm completely in love with the fact that it freezes moments in time that can be cherished for decades to come.
I'd be in the next Uber to LAX! Anywhere where the desert meets the sea. Give me a palm tree, a drink with lots of lime, anything right off of the grill, and plenty of photo worthy landscape...and I'm there.
There are too many to choose! One of my favorites was a beach front wedding in Narragansett, RI. I'm all for a little adventure, so luckily I seem to attract couples with a wild streak! Like me, these New England born beach babies love anything to do with the sea, avid surfers and boaters, they wanted to shoot some sunset photos on their boat in the harbor. They set me up with a "chase" boat to cruise the harbor alongside them and capture some stunning sun kissed photos throughout the glimmering Block Island Sound.
Early morning rafting the Colorado River in Moab, sunny afternoon trail ride on horseback through the desert, sunset margaritas at Moab Under Canvas glampground. If I wasn't a photographer I'd be trying to be a cowgirl somewhere between Arizona and Montana...
I'm forever in search of the next best dish. Find me exploring LA for the new and the next.
I'm a rolling stone at heart. Always planning my next trip somewhere.
Cooking. Notorious for never really following the recipe, I love to experiment in the kitchen with new flavors from all over the globe.
The gym! It may not look like it, but I love strength training at the gym. It's where I feel centered and challenged. Great way to start the day.
I'm a born and raised New England beach baby. I feel at home on the water, often on fishing trips with my Dad!
