WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION?
My family. I have been married for almost 8 years with two amazing & full of life kiddos, ages 6 & 3. Also my parents. They live in Wisconsin...not a day goes by that I don't speak to them.
What is your favorite wedding memory so far?
Even though I'm not shooting the weddings, I do have a favorite wedding with onelove. It was shot at Roaring Camp Railroads. I've recently found out our family has fallen in love with trains. So I guess this just goes hand in hand. I'm not much of the materialistic nature, so I don't need much to say I love you. I tell my 6 year old daughter that an elopement is the most romantic way to get married.... I worked once with an amazing woman who was married sitting in the back seat of Elvis' convertible at a drive through chapel in Vegas. Every time she told the story, she'd just glow (and laugh). I love that
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE local hangoutS?
When I'm not in full mom mode... I love any restaurant with good food & atmosphere! Any place with live music, I'm down! Give it just one drink, and you can find me on the dance floor :) Even if I'm by myself :) When I'm with my kids... definitely the donut shop.
what is your idea of perfect happiness?
Time on a lake. Whether it's on a boat, a tube, beached in the sand, or sitting on a pier...I'm in heaven. I grew up in Wisconsin where lakes are everywhere. I can hear the water under me just thinking about it, making everything else in life just stop.
WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW?
Funny, it seems like all my vacation time is back home in Wisconsin. I'm totally fine with that, because I love it there - it's home to my favorite people. But anywhere you say.... well then... off to the hot sands of the Caribbean Sea. Take me there!
