Quiet mornings cuddling with my husband, watching my two dogs play with each other, with a delicious cup of coffee in hand. Sunny pool bbq-ing days come as a close second!
My family photographs. I don’t have many from my childhood but the ones I have are worn and treasured. This ingrained in me the value of printed memories and a strong archival system!
Tacos from La Taqueria in the mission followed by a hike to Bernal Heights Park for sunset - magical. Another favorite is the Santa Cruz boardwalk at night - specifically enjoying the sunset from the ferris wheel.
It was midnight on the beach in Kauai during the end of an outdoor reception. Spontaneously, the bride and groom ran into the ocean and guests, all fully clothed, decided to follow. It was the magic of the full moon shining on the ocean, tropical music playing in the background, and the truly adventurous guests that made this moment my favorite. Needless to say, I grabbed my camera and ran right in after them!
Art museums! SFMOMA is my favorite and I cannot resist a retrospective. Learning about new artists, their craft and processes inspire me to push my creative boundaries.
Spain - for so many reasons! The first stop will be eating ridiculous amounts of paella in Valencia followed by exploring new cities and beaches. I would, of course, end the trip with wine tasting in a beautiful old vineyard with a delicious charcuterie plate.
As a creative outlet, I’ve been doing my own gel nails for a few years now. I enjoy adding unique accents and designs (hello gold foil).
If my house could look like a jungle, it would. I love rare, architectural house plants and keep almost all of them alive.
My two chihuahua mixes bring me endless joy and laughs with their antics. They are both rescues and while they have completely different personalities, they have an unbreakable bond.
After living here for 14 years I still haven’t tired of the classics like Lands End and Marin headlands. We are spoiled with beautiful trails in the Bay Area and I take every chance I can to explore new ones.
My partner and co-parent to my fur babies. He is always up to explore the sights and new restaurants with me. I am lucky to have him as my biggest cheerleader.
Is it an addiction? Possibly. I will eat sushi for any meal, day after day. I generally keep it simple with nigiri but will happily try a creative dish when the opportunity arises.
