WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WEDDING MEMORY SO FAR?

Photographing an intimate rooftop wedding in Waikiki, Hawaii! Early in my career I was referred a couple that flew me out and paid me to document their wedding day in paradise. It literally changed everything for me and made me realize my purpose.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION?

It's a polaroid of my little family of four that I keep displayed on my desk. As a family we've made huge sacrifices professionally and powered through many obstacles along the way in the past 3 years. The tangibility of the photo reminds me why I do what I love for work and those I do it for.

WHERE ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL HANGOUTS/SECRET SPOTS?

Olive Market coffee shop, Citrone Restaurant and Grille, and Historic Downtown Redlands, California are all located 45 minutes west of Palm Springs in a small town called Redlands. This town is a gem! It's never busy and it's filled with history, art, live music and great food.

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS?

Spontaneously taking my wife to Italy in July, and relaxing beachside, eating mussels, and sipping on a ice cold negroni.

WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW?

That's easy! JORDAN! I would spend time visiting ruins like Petra, walking historic trails, and eating yummy middle eastern food that my wife's family would prepare. The hospitality and remote areas are the perfect remedy for a mental recharge.

Go-tos

DATE NIGHT

Although its not often my wife and I try to date each other twice a month. Whether its Dining, getting a cup of coffee or a trip to Target we try our best to prioritize some alone time together.

CHEMEX COFFEE

The boiling of water and smelling the coffee grounds bloom in the morning is a routine I can't skip. Chemex coffee is a game changer!

COOKING

I love the creative process of preparing a meal for people to come around the table to enjoy. Barbecue is my speciality! If I had to chose a specific dish to cook it would be a four hour smoked tri-tip with a homemade bbq coffee rub, paired with roasted veggies and quinoa.

BEACH DAYS

Dana Point, Ca has this nice little beach called baby beach and it's real shallow so its perfect for my kids! We have a blast swimming, building sand castles, and snacking all day long!

PODCASTS

I'm constantly in pursuit of evolving as a overall person and listening to podcasts that expand on growth in business and personal health are beneficial to me. It's a form of media that allows me to reflect and change things about my business for the better.

FAMILY TRAVEL

There's nothing better than seeing the smiles on my kids faces when we go on a trip somewhere we've never been before. We've road tripped up and down the central coast, visited Sequoia mountain, Yosemite National park and flew to Florida, Hawaii, and Texas to name a few. We love being outdoors and being together!
