Vee is based out of San Francisco, where inspiration is around every corner. She has been photographing people and their stories for nearly a decade. It brings her immense joy to be a part of families milestones and memories. When she is not busy documenting memories you will find her hanging out with her family that is made up of her loving husband, two crazy kids, and 13lb fur baby.
WHAT IS YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS?
Happiness to me is being with my family on a California road trip. We feel so lucky to live in a state that has so many amazing places to go to that are only a few hours away. We like to drive up and down the coast, through redwood forest, to lakes and national parks and cozy up in a cute Airbnb. We call them family adventures.
WHAT IF I TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE RIGHT NOW?
I would go to Fiji! I haven't been able to find and excuse to go, but I like to tell myself if I ever win the lottery the first place I would go would be to Fiji. It seems like the perfect place to lay in a hammock and not worry about a thing.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION?
I have a framed picture of flowers from my grandmother's garden. It was gifted to her by a neighbor/photographer who took the pictures and beautifully frame them. It was handed down to me when she passed. It is a constant reminder of how pictures capture moments and memories that are cherished for years and years.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SF HANGOUTS?
I love a good dive bar and neighborhood restaurant. You can often find me across the street from our house at Saint Mary's Pub having a Dark and Stormy. It's not the best bar but it is our bar, we know the owner, bartenders, and all of the local characters that frequent the bar. When we are looking for a good bite to eat we like to venture to Glen Park for neapolitan pizza at Gialinas.
IN WHAT HISTORICAL PERIOD WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO HAVE LIVED?
Now is pretty great. What an age to be alive!!

CELLO
I've been playing the cello since elementary school. It is the perfect way to relax and create something beautiful all at once.
CAKE DESIGN
I picked up cake decorating when my kids started making requests for special birthday cakes. My mother and done some cake decorating when I was young, I knew some of the basics so it wasn't long before I was making elaborate unicorn and PJ Masks cakes.
BAKING
Especially in the winter. There is nothing better than coming home to a house that has the warm scent of sweet baked goods. My go to's are banana bread, chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, and conchas.
SINGING
I am the crazy person in the car next to you at the stop light that is singing their heart out. I have a perfectly curated karaoke playlist that I play in the car on long drives home after weddings. English 00's and Spanish love songs are my favorites. Please don't confuse this love of singing for real talent, there is a reason I only do it in the car.
COFFEE
The morning doesn't start until I've had a cup of coffee, but it doesn't stop there. I love a good coffee shop. I like my coffee bold and black. I love both local artisanal coffee shops but also appreciate the consistency and availability of Starbucks.
Once our kids were old enough we picked up camping. We look forward to it twice a year. It is a big event that we typically share with friends. We have our set up down and our favorite campgrounds.
